For Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam I built the hyperreal CG hands and app button behind Trainline's Delay Repay campaign: modelling, look development, animation, lighting, rendering and compositing for the music video and the out-of-home key visuals. Sound and edit came from the agency's partners.
For Trainline's "Delay Repay" launch, Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam built a sound-led campaign around one line: Tap that App. Only a third of delayed journeys in the UK ever get claimed, and the feature notifies commuters in real time about the money they are owed. My part was the visual world: a playful, hands-on music video in which fingers dance and tap the app in sync with the track, plus the key visuals for the out-of-home run.
I produced the full CG side myself: modelling and sculpting the hyperreal hands, look development for skin, nails and the app button, animation to the beat, lighting, rendering and compositing. Sound and the final edit were handled by the agency's partners; everything you see on screen came out of my pipeline.
The music video ran as pre-roll on YouTube and on social, and the same hands went large as digital out-of-home across major UK stations, from London Kings Cross and Waterloo to Birmingham New Street, Manchester Piccadilly and Glasgow Central. The song itself was performed by station buskers, played on Heart and Capital Radio and released on Spotify.
